Our Story

Founders Nathan Krachman and Colin Llewellyn met in their sophomore year of high school after both enrolling in their school’s video production course. After collaborating on numerous projects together, developing a creative shorthand in the process, Nathan and Colin decided to expand upon their friendship and aligning passions with the development of a pilot script as well as the creation of their first short film together “Precious.” It was through this year and a half long journey creating “Precious” that Nathan and Colin formed A Butterfly Production, with the hopes of expanding their creative network as well as fostering an environment to delve further into their individual and collective ambitions. Believing in the fundamental principle of collaboration, Nathan and Colin plan to grow the Butterfly team, as well as develop projects together that are deeply meaningful and creatively therapeutic.
